Each shell can fit two different sized liners, see shell sizing below. VALO skates tend to fit a bit smaller than most other aggressive skates. They also are a little slim fitting around the side of your foot. VALO liners are not densely padded but they will still expand by half a size larger than when you originally receive them. It is recommended that you get your true shoe size when buying VALO skates. If your foot is still growing or you have very wide feet, get a size larger than your true shoe size. Shell Size 1: fits 6 and 7 liners Shell Size 2: fits 8 and 9 liners Shell Size 3: fits 10 and 10.5 liners Shell Size 4: fits 11 and 12 liners Shell Size 5: fits 13 and 15 liners SO, for example, if you are deciding on whether or not to get a 9 or a 10 we recommend that you get the 9. Because the smaller skate you use, the lighter it will be, and the more control you will have over the skate. And remember that the liner will expand to half a size larger than when you get them originally. The blue color is hot and if you are buying valo skates, remember to size up. This is my 2nd pair of skates, my 1st one are Razor.
