Each shell size can fit 2 different liner sizes, see shell sizing below. GENESYS skates fit tight in the length and very wide in the width of the boot. The liners are very thick and padded and will expand to half a size or even a full size larger than when you originally receive the skates. If you have a very wide foot then these are the perfect skates for you. It is recommended that you get a size larger than your shoe size. Shell Size 1 fits size 6 and 7 liners Shell Size 2 fits size 8 and 9 liners Shell Size 3 fits size 10 and 10.5 liners Shell Size 4 fits size 11 and 12 liners Shell Size 5 fits size 13 and 14 liners So, if you are deciding whether or not to get a size 9 or a 10, we recommend you get the 9. This is because the smaller skate you have, the lighter it will be on your foot, and the more control you will have over your skates. However if your foot is still growing or you have a very wide foot, then we suggest to get the 10.
